Situated next to the famous Château Petrus, Château Gazin has the benefit of clayey-gravel soil, producing a soft and generous wine, remarkable for its finesse.  Merlot dominates the blend, which is aged in 50% new oak barrels, resulting in a wine with dense dark fruits, silky tannins and a delicate oak touch.  Drinking well now.
